To all Whistling Trout Society Members an friends,
 
      These last four weeks have been great.  I'm officially retired as of 03-01-09.  It's been four weeks and time is flying. Barb and I left the 12th to go to see Matt, Jessica,and Ashlynn in Birmingham AL., returned the 20th.
       I'm playing senior volleyball, Mon., Wed., and Fri., pickle all on Tues. and walking 3 1/2 miles with Barb every other day.
       I'm really ready to go fishing and play some cards.  The date that I've always set is the first full weekend in May.  So this well be April 29th, May 1st, 2nd, 3rd.  I may go up a day early to dig some holes along the two track on the north side.  Vaughn is bring up to me some ceder posts.  The reason I didn't make the week end of the 11th& 12th. Mothers Day is the 12th for you guys that didn't remember.  ( Thank you Jim)
       Have not talked to Matt Brown about meals at the fire pit?  As soon as he lets me know I'll pass the information on to you.  As of of today the 23rd, Vaughn, Jim W. Scott, and myself are going.
       If anyone of you happen to get the cabin before me don't start a fire in the stove, in the cabin. Critters built a nest, I think, in the chimmy. I have to get up on the roof when I get there and check it out.
