Some things never change.  Although this gang is grayer and slower and wiser, we still have a great time every chance we get to meet in Kaleva to share fish stories, euchre and a cold beers.  

The Spring 2000 trip was as great as ever.  This trip, I witnessed for the first time, the awesome powers of Steve Wallgrens Y-stick.  I had heard the legends, but this year, he moseyed up to the river with NEW waders and the Y-stick in his belt.   Awesome

I went exploring around the Manistee countryside and found a strange animal up in a tree.  I figure it was a porcupine but it sure looks like a woodchuck.  I just understand why it was hanging out in the tree. Strange
