Whistling Trout Fishing Friends,
This has been a great year for me.  I'm now running an ACO hardware store in Chelesa, Michigan, just west of Ann Arbor. Running this store is not going to stop me from going fishing. My plan is to go up on Thursday, May 4th and be up there in the afternoon, leaving Sunday morning. 

Scott & Todd were up last weekend and fished at Tippy Dam and the Bear. They talked to a fisherman, who fished all winter.  He told Scott that the steelhead run had not happened yet this year in Bear Creek. So if you would like to come up I'll be there. [Editors Note: Make sure you read my entry in the Guestbook about the steelhead I caught during the second weekend in April --- There are fish in that there stream.]

I've been playing a lot of Euchre with Matt on our computers. I think we do well together. We need a good challenge? Remember to bring warm clothes it's not summer yet.  Be sure to get a license and regulation book. The rules have changed this year for many streams.
