CCB'ers, Here is a question for you? From Todd Swenson: When you are part of a paddling club, what do you do in January when it is supposed to be 5 degrees and snowy? Paddling is not the 1st answer but when its 40 degrees in the middle of a Michigan winter, that's what you do and we did. Rather a last minute trip but awesome. We hit some CCB uncharted river miles on the Huron River in Milford. The sun shined down on us all day! 3 boats, 3 adults and 3 kids and no gps, so we are not sure how many miles but somewhere between 8 to 10. We saw lots of wild life. We saw ducks and a dead deer carcase. There were also these creatures moving around in white carts carrying sticks, hitting little white balls and they thought we were odd for canoeing in January. So next time we have we have a last minute paddle, We will have a spot you. If you are interested, let us know.
