CCB’ers, Come join us on “The News Years Day Clinton River Redemption Trip”.

I am calling this the redemption trip because on Black Friday aka “The BFF”, 7 souls made time from all those shopping bargains to paddle the Clinton River here in Waterford. We ended up paddling the last stretch of the river from 4 Towns to Dodge Park in the dark. Which was awesome! We were pretty much at this point in the trip, barrier free. No more portages or snags. But one of our paddlers did get hung up on a sand bar for about 30 minutes. Oops, you will have to find it for your self. There was lots of ambient light to guide our way. The plan is to paddle the river and get done before dark. This is a 10 mile trip and my ultimate plan is to get 10 paddlers to put 100 miles on the river mile counter. So come on, get out doors and enjoy the best Michigan has to offer. There will be a ½ hot dog lunch. Are you in?

Hey boat strokers. Todd wants to paddle the Clinton River on New Years. A 10 mile float with10 people for a total of 100 CCB miles on 01/01/2012. A great paddle starting at Loon Lake with a hot lunch 1/2 down the river towards Dodge Park in Waterford. We'll be taking chainsaws with us!
