DeniseB, MattK, and I decided to brave the Little Miami Sat afternoon, DeniseB and I in my canoe, MattK, braving my kayak sans a spray skirt.  After a short motivation period (lots of birthday partying Fri night) we were finally on the river about 3pm.  We knew it would be a fast paddle after plenty of March rainfall.  The river did not disappoint.  It was still dark with silt, running fast, but luckily no major debris or deadfall to contend with.  We had some good rapids that brought a few crashers over the bow of the kayak.  It was a beautiful afternoon with low 60s, and good spring paddle on a great river.
