Story

This is the trip I have been trying to make happen since last fall. And the timing could not be better. We need to get on the river before the leaves come out to discover the secret hunting meca, a spot I first found on a January trip in 2002. I have never been able to find it again. This trip is similar to the hunt for the end o' the rainbow, the fountain of youth, the devil's triagle, or Atlantis. To pass the time, we have an excellent chance at finding some migratory steelhead. At night, perhaps coyote will serenade us.

We will camp at the old Indian campground my father discovered through a steelhead guide in 2001. The only CCBers who have camped at the old indian campground so far is Saginaw Paul. This will be a great early season float on a beautiful river. Clear the calendars and join us.
