Well, my camera was destroyed on this mighty river so I have no pictures of my own to share. Tim Weiss sent me a few pics in August to add to the site. What a mighty trip. I would like to pass on my thanks to the Owl Hoot crew for a great time.

A Few Pictures From 2001

AGENDA - Arrive Friday night when you can get there. The cincy/atlanta crew will arrive late on Friday. People will be dropping in all day/night long. There are around 12 friends coming for Todd's party and another 10 arriving fortheir 20th annual canoe trip down the Little Manistee. We will party Friday night and awake early (ugh) for a drive to the canoe livery on M-55 outside Wellston. After the canoe trip, we will drive to Club 37 on M-37 near the cabin for dinner. Then it's back to Owl Hoot for a bonfire and evening activities. Later, we will have a wild game evening snack, etc. We will pack up and be out early on Sunday morning for the long drives home.

We will be camping the entire weekend so be prepared. Also, the river is running high due to the rainfall this spring. This is a very fast and potentially dangerous river so if anyone does not feel like canoeing, there will be no pressure to. You are forewarned, this river will test all your canoeing skills.
