During the weekend of October 8-9-10, we will gather in Brethern, Michigan for a weekend of Salmon fishing, music, camping, and story telling. If you don't do any of the above, feel free to come anyway and do what you want or to do nothing. We camp out the entire weekend on the High Banks above the creek and enjoy the Fall days of October deep in the Michigan forest. You would be nuts to miss this weekend. Bring your friends, bring your neighbors. Let me know who is coming and we will have dinner cooked for everyone on Saturday. Turkey.. yum.. smoked in a local smoke house.

The schedule looks like this:
Some will arrive on Friday to set up camp. The festivities will continue long into the night while the others arrive. Saturday morning, the salmon fisherman will hit the river while the others make hay through the morning. We will all meet for lunch at a local watering hole and then the fisherman will hit the river again. Don't worry if you don't fish, there may be more non-fishers than fisherman; You will have plenty of company. Saturday evening we will have a big communal dinner with all the trimmings, a bonfire and music and northern celebration which will last long into the night. Sunday morning, the brave will get up to fish while the weak sleep. Pack up at your leisure and head south when the urge strikes.

I promise a good time if you show. Bring something to play for a junk yard band.. a bell, a can, an empty shoe, a car hood, a hollow log, instruments, violins, sticks to rub together, a slow song.

This adventure is about 4 hours away from Detroit and will be the first festival of its kind in Brethern, Michigan.

Let me know.....
