Bear Lake 1999 Newsletter #1

Hello Bear Lake Fisherman,

As we usher in the New Year, it is time to male plans for our trek to Bear Lake. If recent discussions are any indication, this year’s trip will be very popular. Of course the great weather and even better fishing in 1998 are the reasons for the better than average excitement. I doubt that we can duplicate the fishing on Burnt Cabin, but I am very sure we would all love to try.

The 1999 Trip will leave from Flint on Friday, July 31st, and return on Saturday, August 7th. Chuck has cut us a special price for a guarantee of fifteen people. Holding the group together always proves to be one of the more difficult parts of the planning. This year the first sixteen fishermen. To send their fifty dollars deposit will receive a 1999 Bear Lake T-shirt compliments of yours truly. If the number exceeds eighteen, the last deposits/commitments received will be alternates in the event that someone would have to drop out. The perfect group would be fourteen or sixteen, however; use of the guide cabin would allow us to accommodate eighteen people. Scheduling back lakes and cooking become more of a challenge, but we have enough experience to make it work.
